This shed got a total makeover including vinyl siding. When we install the vinyl siding we first start with restoring the structure of the shed by replacing the rotted wood often times found around the bottom of the shed then wrap the overhangs with metal trim coil bent to fit. On this shed the customer chose the fiberglass replacement doors. The shed shingles were also replaced to complete the total makeover!
Shed Repair Metal Roof and Vinyl Siding
This shed was insulated and had electrical through the entire building. It was a perfect building for a workshop or extra living space. I redid the roofline and installed metal roof because the low pitch. After replacing the rotted sections around the bottom I went to work with redoing the door opening and installing a prehung insulated entrance door. I also redid the window openings and installed insulated windows. The aluminum coil was used to finish the overhangs and then the vinyl siding was installed to give this building another 50 years! All for a fraction of the cost of a new building!! This customer was also told by his township that if he took the building away he he had to downsize to a much smaller building because of township permitting.
